Oudtshoorn Community Against Crime wants to search for missing soldier
There was high drama at the Infantry School in Oudtshoorn
yesterday when the commander of the institution refused to receive a memorandum
from the Oudtshoorn Community Against Crime about the missing soldier, Isak
Thompson. The organisation is asking the army to allow the community to search
for Thompson themselves. Community activists, Leon Campher says they are
looking for the firearm and not for Thompson. They have given the army seven
days to respond to their memorandum. Thompson has been missing since July 19.
