The George Multi Party Forum says it will march to the the George municipality next week. The aim of the march is to highlight concerns about the high prices of electricity and electricity being allegedly cut off for those who fail to pay their municipal services. One of the members of the forum, Roseline Tyler, says the poorest of the poor are struggling more due to the high prices of electricity. The forum, which was established last week, consists of opposition political parties in the George municipality and community organisations. Tyler says march will take place on the 24th of August 2023.
